Project Description:

A simple but very elegant piece that was designed and produced for our commercial Austin client, BMP.   If you like this, you may also want to check out the River Walnut Console Table produced for this same client.  This console table is produced from a single piece walnut slab.   If you notice, the walnut that we offer our clients is highly figured, high character wood produced from salvaged trees.   One of our master craftsman, Brent, added a nice contrasting flare of Caribbean blue to fill a large knot hole.   Brent is a master at resin mixes and can offer endless color options.   We sometimes leave the natural voids (knots, cracks, inclusions, etc) completely natural to be as organic as nature intended.   Or we can offers fills from metal shavings or a immense variety of mica resin fills. 

The legs were fabricated in-house at our Dripping Springs, TX furniture shop and sawmill.   They were fabricated from 2-1/2″ square tubing and TIG welded to final completion.  We kept the natural, rustic industrial look and clear coated the legs for added protection.  These are very affordable legs when the budget is tight.
